I chose this news story because it shows the absurdity of the ongoing Trayvon Martin case. It appeared on CNN, and I think the ridiculousness of the entire situation is shown through the comments and message left by this "bounty".

This Lady Gaga video is also a little absurd, but that's what society lives for these days. The intimate details of this birthday also astound me, but also do a great job of reporting what happened.

Using Lady GaGa for the pop culture video was a good idea. Lady GaGa is such a huge part of pop culture today.
