I chose this "Leprechaun in Mobile" video as my news/pop culture story, because it was an actual story that a reporter covered in Alabama about a "leprechaun sighting" in an area neighborhood. The video contains transitions, witness interviews, etc. to help tell the "story". The video went viral a few years ago, and what started out as a news story became a pop culture sensation.

I chose this video about the 2011 Bastrop wildfires as my news video. It is a behind the scenes look at how firefighters worked to put out the fires, and includes narration by the two KXAN news anchors, and a video transition from firefighters on the ground to scene from a Forest Service helicopter that shows the fires from the air and adds interest to the story.
