I found this photo on the Sports Illustated website and thought it was a great action shot. The picture captured a pivital moment during the game between the Red Wings and the Sharks. The picture's main focus is on the players and your eye is drawn to the action even though the background is very busy with an arena full of fans.

The top picture in this newspaper from Florence, Alambama struck a chord with me because it is so raw. It shows the horrible damaged caused by the fire but yet carries with it some innocence by showing the child's stuff animals out it front. It carries a lot of emotion with it.
