I  love this photo, you can feel the excitement from the players' expressions, the bright colors add to the effect. There is a nice line of motion created by the players' bodies and how they are positioned in the photo, draws the eye to the far right of the photo. The referee blends into the background of the clouded blackandwhite crowd, bring emphasis to the red uniforms and the action taking place... creating contrast.

 The light draws your eye straight to the center of the photo, it also makes it seem somewhat mystical, gives added dimensions. The figures are also nicely balanced; a group of people in the center and the couple of people on each end of the photo. The city lights in the background create a nice line for the eye to follow; anchors the rest of the image and creates contrast from the darkness of the photo.
