This is definitely an excellent example of decorative type. Decorative type is commonly associated with resembling hadn-written lettering, vintage type, grunge type or whimsical lettering. The charartsestics of the overexaggeration on the font and jagged lines used in it make the "Sour Punch" the epitome of decorative type.

This particular logo is great example of script type. Defined as typicalling looking like something off a wedding invitation, somewhat old-fashioned penmanship, script type is used in various ways as such. "Sweets" is most definitely is a perfect use of script type.






Below is a sample of old style font.The most readable font, old style font is the most generic of the all the font types. Old style's hairline strokes and tapered serifs can get lost when reversed.
