I chose the Recorder because it includes a website, issue date, publication number and the size/font style plays a huge role in the appeal of the paper. I feel that it looks very newsworthy and sort of old school.
I chose the Times Record because it states the price, a in "today's news" and the font/spacing of the font looks very important in my opinion. (A MUST read) It is lacking a website link, however.

I like the Recorder and also think all the information it includes is great.
I like the layout of the Recorder, the R draws me in too
I like both of these nameplates, they catch the readers attention.
