I picked The Arizona Republic and The Decatur Daily because they include a web address, print date, slogan/teaser, and a bold masthead. The clean/precise layouts appeal to me, especially the spacing in The Arizona Republic.http://www.newseum.org/todaysfrontpages/

The spacing in The Arizona Republic is very visually appealing.
I think The Arizona Republic does a good job with font play. I like that each of the headlines and teasers aren't the exact same font; bolded, caps or otherwise. The header is very clean. I like the use of color in the underline, makes the title stand out even more.
